PART-TIME VICTIM ADVOCATE, ATHENS, AL

The Athens-Limestone Children’s Advocacy Center is seeking a part-time Victim Advocate. Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field required, experience preferred. Ability to relate to a wide range of groups and individuals is essential. Previous experience in working with victims of trauma is preferred, as is working relationship within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, flexible working hours, and ability to work as part of a team are needed. If interested please call by close of business October 28, 2016.

What does it cost to help an abused child?

A child's forensic interview - $150

One hour of counseling for a child - $100

Family Advocacy - $75

Report Child Abuse

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. To report a suspicion of child abuse or neglect, call the DHR office for your county.
